The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the allocation of a financial grant of 100,000 DZD for the benefit of supervised professors and researchers whose students are able to create start-up institutions.
A statement issued by the Ministry stated that, to encourage professors and permanent researchers to supervise students who are preparing their graduation notes within the framework of the “University Certificate – Emerging Institution” project, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research initiated the preparation of a draft organizational text that enables supervised professors and researchers whose students were able to create institutions A young woman who has obtained a “Startup Enterprise Label” will be able to obtain a financial grant of one hundred thousand dinars (100,000 DZD) for each project that fulfills the aforementioned condition, provided that this procedure does not exceed two (2) projects for each supervisor in one academic year.
The ministry affirms that the new measure aims to “encourage professors and permanent researchers to engage in the endeavor aimed at creating emerging institutions that contribute to the creation of wealth and job positions.” The source added that the “University Certificate – Emerging Enterprise” project, which culminates in the student’s training course, constitutes “one of the mechanisms for embodying the sector’s endeavor aimed at forming a generation of students, entrepreneurs capable of moving towards entrepreneurship, innovation, and the creation of emerging creative enterprises for wealth and job positions.”
