President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during the second day of his visit to Portugal, oversaw the inauguration of the “Algerian-Portuguese” businessmen forum. The forum aims to discuss and strengthen partnership opportunities between Algerian and Portuguese economic institutions.
By the way, the President of the Republic, accompanied by the Portuguese Prime Minister, supervised today the signing ceremony of several partnership agreements between the two countries.
This comes on the sidelines of President Tebboune’s state visit to Portugal at the head of an important ministerial delegation. A cooperation agreement was also signed between Algeria and Portugal in the field of digital governance, in addition to a cooperation agreement between Algeria and Portugal related to cultural exchange 2023-2025.
A declaration of intent to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Portugal was signed. And the signing of a memorandum of understanding on startups and innovation.
In this regard, a partnership agreement was concluded between the Algerian Economic Renewal Council and the Confederation of Portuguese Companies.
The President of the Republic, accompanied by Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa, also chaired a session of talks that included the delegations of the two countries at the headquarters of the Portuguese Prime Ministry.
