Donald Trump may have had a blast at his civil fraud trial in Manhattan this week, but he’s really “angry” that his daughter Ivanka Trump is next to be dragged in to testify in the case.
Ivanka, 42, is scheduled to stand in court on Wednesday as the state’s final witness after legal attempts by the mother-of-three and her father to keep her out of the courtroom failed.
“What you don’t hear in court is how upset and angry they are,” a source familiar with the Trump family told Page Six [Donald Trump] Is that his children have been dragged to court. He feels like this is another step to upset him. he is angry.”
The source explained: “This is causing problems with Ivanka, who has worked hard to stay under the radar over the past two years, and is preparing for the press and photographers who will pounce on her in court.”
Page Six previously reported that Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, have retreated from public life after serving as White House advisers, focusing on their family in Miami, Florida, instead.
“He sympathizes with him,” our source told us about Donald [Ivanka’s] Her feelings about how this is affecting her life in Miami… Ivanka wants for nothing [public] Attention, and now she is being put back in the spotlight and Trump is upset about what is happening to her.”
Trump’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric, have already taken a stand in the case, and Trump himself testified on Monday.
“He knows that Don Jr. and Eric can handle stress and fight back,” a Trump insider said, adding that since his eldest daughter has moved away from politics, “Ivanka has become more vulnerable.”
But another source said Ivanka is a fighter, telling us: “She’s tough…and this isn’t her first rodeo with this stuff. She’s lived a more private life, and this is even more upsetting. She’s going to do what she has to do and go back to Miami.”
Ivanka has recently burst onto the Hollywood social scene: She attended Kim Kardashian’s 43rd birthday party in Los Angeles last month and rubbed shoulders with guests including Jeff Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez.
She also recently celebrated her 42nd birthday in Florida with her loved ones.
Ivanka was originally named as a defendant in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ $250 million lawsuit against her father and the Trump Organization, but was dismissed as a defendant by the state Court of Appeals in June.

Her lawyers then argued that the former First Daughter should not be forced to testify after the appeal ruling. Her father’s lawyers said prosecutors unfairly wanted Ivanka to be a witness for a “circus day” in court.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron had previously made the decision to have Ivanka appear in court after hearing defense attorneys’ arguments about why she should not be forced to testify.
Donald is accused of lying about his financial worth to enrich himself in his business dealings. He denied the accusations, even exploding during his testimony by saying: “The fraud is on the court, not me.”
Either way, the first source said of Trump, 77, that during the trial, “he feels like he’s making his points to the public and telling everyone around him that whatever happens will be overturned in a higher court.” But what he talks about most is that the polls show him winning [President] Biden” in a possible electoral confrontation in 2024.
The representatives did not comment.
