Oscar nominee Melanie Griffith stepped out with a large new scar on the left side of her face while out in West Hollywood, CA on Friday afternoon.

While enjoying a solo drive through Los Angeles, the actress, 65, displayed a mark that seemed to be healing, just above her ear on her flawless skin.

The scar, which the working girl hasn’t spoken about publicly, hasn’t been on any of her recent outings as recently as Jan. 11.

During the outing, the mom-of-three wore a pair of thick, long-sleeved black eyeglasses, diamond studs and bright red lipstick.

Griffith wore minimal makeup and her golden blonde hair styled in waves as she drove around in her car,

Back in 2018, she was seen on multiple occasions with a scar or bandage on her nose after undergoing a dermabrasion to remove a precancerous cell, according to People.

While filming the 1981 movie, Roar, Griffith was said to have been “chased by a lion, resulting in more than 100 stitches and reconstructive surgery,” according to Business Insider.

Over the years, Griffith has been open about receiving hate online about her looks.

She is the mother of actresses Dakota Johnson, 33, Alexander Bauer, 37, and Stella Banderas, 26.
