Yesterday, the activities of the fifth edition of the “Bridges of Communication for Urban Heritage” meeting opened at the National Public Museum of Arts and Traditional Cultural Expressions – Haj Ahmed Bey Palace – in the capital of the hanging bridges, Constantine, under the title “Modernization and modern technology in museum management, museum show scenography.”
The meeting was sponsored by the Minister of Culture and Arts, Suria Moulouji, with the participation of a number of national public museums, and in the presence of those in charge of the culture and arts sector in the state.
This meeting aims to build scenography and create temporal and spatial meanings, through vocabulary, symbols and bodies, to confirm its aesthetics through visual and auditory processing in the formulation and formation of the visual display (the museum), and the introduction of technology and modern techniques in the museum scenographic display to keep pace with international museums. It will last two days, showing the programmed digitization works in several Algerian museums and the regional theater “Mohamed Taher El Fergani” in Constantine.
Technical workshops were also presented by the “Research Center for the Development of the Territory” in coordination with the “National Public Museum, Palace of Hajj Ahmed Bey in Constantine, on “3D Scanner Technology for Museums and Spaces: Palace of Hajj Ahmed Bey as a Model.”
By the way, a partnership and cooperation agreement was also concluded between the Research Center for Territory Development in Constantine and the National Public Museum of Art and Traditional Cultural Expressions, the Haj Ahmed Bey Palace for the same city, for the purpose of protecting and valuing cultural heritage and exchanging experiences, as well as strengthening scientific, technical and technological cooperation with the Research Center and exploiting it in the management The risks that may face the museum as a classified historical landmark.
