One of the most talked about projects is his movie with Southern director Atley. The cast and project selection has caused quite a stir since it was announced. The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor will be collaborating with Atlee for the first time ever, and the movie will also star Southern actress Nayanthara in the lead.
SRK reveals Gwan’s joke
Pinkvilla exclusively mentioned that the title of the upcoming movie is Jawan. Now, finally, SRK has shared a major movie update as he unveiled the teaser for his movie. Jawan is scheduled to be launched on June 2, 2023 in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. SRK shared Jawan’s teaser, writing on his social media: “An action packed movie of 2023!! brings you #Jawan, an explosive artist to cinemas on 2nd June 2023. In Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.”

SRK talks about Gwan
In the teaser, SRK is seen amid a bumpy backdrop, injured and wrapped in bandages. The film’s first look sets the tone for what’s to come, a larger-than-life action artist. Speaking about the film, SRK said, “Gwan is a universal story that transcends languages and geographies and is enjoyed by all. It is thanks to Atli for creating this unique film, which was also a great experience for me because I love action movies! Humor is just the tip of the iceberg and gives a glimpse of what is to come.”
SRK will play a double role in June
In addition to SRK and Nayanthara, the film will also feature Sania Malhotra in the lead. According to our sources, Nayanthara will be playing the investigative officer, while SRK will appear in a dual role in Jawan. He will play the son and gangster and the other is the father who plays the role of a senior RAW officer.
Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movies
Apart from Jawan, the Chennai Express star will next appear in Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on January 25, 2023. SRK will also appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki along with Taapsee Pannu, slated for release on December 22, 2023.
