The show will center around Kamala Khan / Mrs. Marvell (Iman Vilani), a teenage superhero who is also a fervent fan of her fellow crime stooges. “I would like to say [the comic book universe] Villani explained it’s a 616. “I don’t think the MCU is a 616. As much as Kevin Feige made us think it’s a 616, it’s 199999.”

Feige himself recently praised Vellani’s commitment to the larger Marvel tradition, revealing that the actress carried a notebook full of thoughts and comments with her.

“Like Tom Holland and Peter Parker, Eman is a much bigger Marvel fan than we could have imagined,” Feige told Empire Magazine. “[On set] She carries this Unabomber notebook with her everywhere, with her scribbles and thoughts. Why don’t we want to hear them? Not only is she starring, she would have commented on the show online. So, it’s best to comment before the show ends, and try to incorporate some of these ideas.”
