After the crash on the Florida coast, NASA and SpaceX plan to hold a post-crash press conference at a time to be announced.

This briefing will feature Steve Stitch, Director of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Joel Montalbano, International Space Station Program Manager at NASA; And a SpaceX representative, according to previous information from NASA.

Crew-4 was launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on April 27 and arrived at the International Space Station on the same day. The mission consists of Cristoforetti and NASA astronauts Robert Haines, Kjell Lindgren and Jessica Watkins.

As its name suggests, Crew-4 is the fourth contracted astronaut mission that SpaceX has flown to NASA’s orbiting laboratory. It is one of two SpaceX flights currently on the International Space Station; Crew-5 arrived on October 6 for five months.
