Finally, the first syllable of Thor: Love and Thunder It arrived, giving fans their first extended look at a single scene in Taika Waititi’s photo. The sneak peek was revealed during the MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday and shows exactly what fans can expect from the feature.
The clip is an extended version of what fans saw in the trailer, where Thor is in the heat of battle and then sees Mjolnir’s trusty hammer come back only to be absorbed by Jane Foster. Watch it now in the video player below!

As fans have seen through film marketing so far, the fourth Thor movie will feature both Thor Odinson (Chris Hemsworth) and Mighty Thor Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Despite the appearances of both characters, Waititi insists that the film does not represent a true passage of the torch.
“And also, it’s really fun, the idea that Thor [has] You’ve got Stormbreaker, that big axe, and now the hammer is in someone else’s hand,” Waititi said previously in a conversation with GamesRadar. No longer hammer him. It’s the idea that someone takes his place. I think a lot of fans will assume, “Oh, well, this is the torch relay”… I’m not aware of any plans Marvel has for the future, but I don’t think that’s an issue.”
Furthermore, the director said that the film feels “kind of awkward” for him due to the roots of his love story.
“I wanted to embrace this thing that I’ve always been a little bit shy about, to explore this idea of love, and to show the characters who believe in love,” Waititi said in a separate interview with Empire Magazine. “On paper, it sounds awkward to me, but there’s a way to do it with great characters that make a great movie, and also get something that no superhero fan would want, which is people talking about love, and characters kissing.”

Thor: Love and Thunder Opens in theaters July 8.
