Here’s how Simmons works out, eats, and lives her best life.

Simmons’ favorite exercise is strength training. “I love weight training. Weight training is my favorite.” Says Life and style. β€œWhen I discovered weight training, my complete transformation began, not only for my mental health but obviously my body as well. My life has changed so much. I just want to be strong! As if nothing makes me feel stronger than lifting weights.” An Hour to Myself Every day in the gym, I get rid of the weights and take that time for myself. When you leave the gym in that rush, you’ll feel so good after a session like this!”

Simmons eats a lot of protein to provide her energy. β€œI like to start my morning with oatmeal, as it is a good source of complex carbohydrates in the morning to give me the energy I need, especially before going to the gym.” Says Life and style. “On top of that, she makes sure to include some protein sources, like scrambled eggs. I love making smoothies at home, where you can’t even taste the protein because there’s so much fruit and amazing antioxidants. I just throw in spinach, fruit, and one scoop of protein.”

Stock struggle

Simons has learned from experience that restrictive diets are not sustainable. β€œI am a strong believer in living a healthy lifestyle rather than dieting.” Says Forbes. “I tried dieting and failed. I tried dieting again and failed again. It was a never-ending cycle. Once I realized the importance of living an overall healthy lifestyle, I stopped dieting. Living a healthy lifestyle is more… Much more than just exercise, it’s about feeling good inside and out. β€œIt was an easy transition as fitness and lifestyle go hand in hand, something I felt my subscribers needed to see.”

Simmons is thrilled that more women are trying strength training. β€œIt’s amazing to see the fitness community continuing to transform every day.” Says Forbes. “There are more and more women who are gaining the confidence to go to the gym and enter the intimidating weight training area that in the past was filled with men. It’s scary and many women are breaking through that barrier.”

Simmons lives a healthy lifestyle but rejects the obsession with perfection. β€œI’m all about living a healthy lifestyle, so I think if you eat healthy 90% of the day, it’s okay to have chocolate cake at the end of the day.” Says Life and style. “You have to have that balance, otherwise you’ll go crazy. Mental health is what started my whole fitness journey, and if I drank protein shakes all day every day I would lose my mind. It’s all about balance. It’s okay to treat yourself, you have to do it.” !
