Lieutenant General Saeed Shangriha on a working and inspection visit to the Algerian National Gendarmerie Command – Al-Hiwar

In continuation of the inspection and inspection visits to the various components of the People’s National Army, during the holy month of Ramadan, Lieutenant General Saïd CHANEGRIHA, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, made this Thursday a working and inspection visit to the National Gendarmerie Command.

At the beginning, after the reception ceremony by Major General Yahya Ali Walhaj, Commander of the National Gendarmerie, the Lieutenant General took a stand to pay his respects to the soul of the heroic martyr “Larbi Ben M’hidi”, whose name the National Gendarmerie headquarters bears, where he placed a wreath of flowers in front of the memorial monument commemorating him. He recited the opening of the book on his pure soul and on the souls of the righteous martyrs.

Subsequently, the Lieutenant General held the first orientation meeting with the executives and employees, where he delivered a speech on the occasion, which was broadcast to all units of the National Gendarmerie via teleconference technology, in which he affirmed that the People’s National Army, aware of all the threats, will continue to make more efforts in How to win the bets of the current stage:

“From this standpoint and aware of everything that is being plotted against our country, we are still in the People’s National Army, under the leadership of the President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the Minister of National Defense. We are very keen to make effort after effort in order to win the stakes of the current stage, especially regarding Preserving Algeria’s independence, consolidating the foundations of its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and preserving the strength and durability of the bonds of its popular unity, which was sealed forever by millions of righteous martyrs with their pure blood.”

Mr. Lieutenant General also stressed the importance of the National Gendarmerie, which represents a link and effective communication with the people, and a tool on which the National People’s Army relies greatly in the field of serving the law and the nation:

“In this particular regard, the National Gendarmerie, which is an integral part of the People’s National Army, represents an essential pillar of security and stability in our country, as it contributes significantly, along with other security services, to the fight against terrorism and transnational organized crime, and also plays “It plays an important role in rural and semi-urban areas, as it constitutes a link and communication with the people, which is what makes this weapon an extremely important and effective tool, which we rely on greatly in the field of serving the law and the nation.”
