Sergey Aleinik: Belarus seeks to give a strong impetus to bilateral relations with Algeria – Algerian Dialogue

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. Sergei Alaynik, confirmed today, Sunday, that he had delivered to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a message from his Belarusian counterpart, Mr. Alexander Lukashenko, with the aim of giving a strong impetus to bilateral relations between the two countries.
In a press statement following his reception by the President of the Republic, Mr. Aleinik explained that this meeting allowed for a discussion of relations between the two countries and a discussion of “issues related to bilateral cooperation in many fields, especially those related to industry, agriculture, food security, and culture, as well as the necessary steps to develop this cooperation in the future.” .
He pointed out that “it was agreed to hold the first sessions between Algeria and Belarus in order to develop cooperation in the tourism and educational fields.”
Points of view were also exchanged, the Belarusian minister added, on international issues of common interest, highlighting “the necessity of supporting the efforts of all international organizations and creating a multipolar world.”
