The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Abdul Rashid Tabbi, met today, Tuesday, with the executives of the General Inspection of the Ministry of Justice, in preparation for the launch of the inspection of the judicial authorities, which will start next Sunday.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Justice, the Minister gave instructions to the inspectorate executives about the inspection process of the judicial authorities, as he ordered the need to scrutinize this process and stand up to the shortcomings and imbalances and how to address them with the aim of improving the public service provided by the judicial facility, by focusing on the points of good management and control of sessions and how to Dealing with the litigating citizen, the pace of adjudication of cases, and standing on the extent of the Public Prosecution judges’ commitment to practicing public prosecution in following up cases of speculation, smuggling, traffic accidents, drug cases and all kinds of crime.
Abd al-Rashid Tabbi also ordered the inspectors to follow up on the liquidation of the seized items, especially the vehicles, and the liquidation of the sums of money for guarantees, judicial expenses, and the collection of fines, as well as the extent of taking care of the issue of implementing penalties and implementing civil judgments and judicial orders.
In addition, Medical gave instructions to liquidate the legal and judicial rehabilitation file and to monitor the extent of activation of the implementation cell and the committee charged with managing the archive, inspection and technical oversight of projects that are in the process of being completed, and raising the problems that hinder their receipt, and the extent of the Attorney General’s efforts in this.
Finally, it should be noted that the regular inspection program for the judicial authorities includes all judicial councils and courts affiliated to them, as well as administrative courts, and will be the basis for the process of evaluating the performance of the heads of judicial authorities in the middle of the judicial year.
