Minister of Communication, Mohamed Laqab, from Tunisia, emphasized that technology has not only affected the most important sectors, but has affected elements of the media process as well.
Laqab said in a press statement, after his participation as a guest of honor in the launch of the activities of the Arab Media Conference in Tunisia. There are transformations that carry promising prospects, but at the same time they carry many warnings.
The minister added, “Today, as media professionals, we wonder about the future of journalism and what will be the fate of the journalist if the technology has not reached this point. It threatens about 800 million people with inevitable unemployment.”
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Communications participated as a guest of honor in the launch of the activities of the Arab Media Conference in Tunisia, which began yesterday morning, Wednesday, and was organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union.
Laqab also visited the Artificial Intelligence Exhibition on the sidelines of the launch of the activities of the third edition of the Arab Media Conference in Tunisia.
