The Minister of the Interior, Local Communities and Urban Development, Ibrahim Murad, announced the census of 12,000 shadow areas across the country, stressing the completion of the President’s program by the end of the current year.
Ibrahim Murad said, during a working visit and an inspection of the state of Tokurt, “We finished all the program designated for the development of 12,000 shadow areas that were counted, and tens of thousands of projects were implemented that contributed to improving the conditions of citizens,” noting that some shortcomings will be taken care of within the regular framework of each state’s program, after Determining priorities, as an embodiment of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to eliminate manifestations of deprivation.
The Minister of Interior added that the creation of the new ten states made it possible to bring the decision-making centers closer together, and each governor is required to write a strategy for the development of the state he supervises, stressing the state’s keenness to accompany the new states and strengthen them with all capabilities to improve the standard of living for citizens.
